FAQ

  • Do you offer quilting workshops?
Workshops are in the planning stage. Follow us on social media to stay updated on upcoming workshops, and contact us directly to express your interest. Would you like to attend a "Learn to Sew" workshop or an "Art Quilting" workshop?
  • Do you offer gift vouchers?
No, we do not offer gift vouchers at this time.
  • Do you create quilts from customers own fabrics?
Yes, for Legacy Quilts, we encourage using fabrics from sentimental items, such as clothing, to add a personal touch. If the person the Legacy Quilt reflects was crafty, we can also incorporate materials like a selection from the loved ones own fabrics, ribbons, lace, etc.
  • What types of quilts do you offer?
We offer Legacy, Heritage, Milestone, Traveller, and Sensory Quilts. Sensory Quilts and Traveller Quilts are available but typically are not custom-made. If any are available for immediate purchase, we will list them online, as that you give you the chance to purchase one before they are even posted online!
  • Do you offer refunds or exchanges on custom quilts?
General wear and tear is not covered. However, if there is an issue or fault with the quilt, contact Art of Quilting directly, and we will work to resolve the issue.
  • Can I personalize a quilt for a special occasion, like an anniversary or milestone?
Absolutely! Milestone Quilts and Heritage Quilts can be designed to commemorate special milestones like a wedding anniversary, retirement, or any other meaningful event. You can tell your story and see how it is reflected in the quilt designs for you. Let's not forget that these quilts make a perfect, personalized gift to celebrate life’s important moments.
  • What is a Traveller Quilt?
A Traveller Quilt is a custom quilt that documents your travels. The new quilt owner sews on a button to represent each destination visited —hopefully, in the end, you’ll have a quilt covered in buttons! You can upcycle buttons from clothing or purchase them from haberdashery stores or online.
  • Do you collaborate with other artists or accept commissions?
Feel free to contact us with any proposals! We are open to future collaborations and always excited about new creative opportunities.
  • How can I place an order for a custom quilt?
First, book a consultation with Jasmine Pearce from Art of Quilting to discuss what your quilt will represent. After the consultation, you’ll receive a confirmed price, and you’ll be able to make an upfront payment to secure your order.
  • When will I get my quilt?
After consultations, the arrival of materials to make the quilt, and the total payment of the quilt your position in the queue is guaranteed. It will then take approximately 6 weeks to complete your quilt.
  • What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs depend on the destination. All quilts are approximately the same size, so location is the determining factor. We will source a quote and update you with the details.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal, PayID, and bank transfers as payment options.
